Hi there. If you're reading this page, it means I am interested in doing professional proofreading/editing services for text you have. As of 9/12/19, this is a simple, private-kinda page set up on my writing blog that serves as a "resume" of sorts specifically for my text editing examples.
I have been doing proofing and editing services for text since 2003 primarily under contract for several internet marketing companies in the Smoky Mountain region of East Tennessee as well as published print works. Besides just writing for these services, I have also proofed and edited writing that was generated by a client or other party and not myself - the amount of websites, blog posts, Facebook posts and printed technical document pages I have professionally fixed typos, punctuation and grammar on list in the hundreds (maybe thousands, but I'm unable to accurately predict a number for it), as well as print merchandise, video commercials, audio transcription content, press releases, emails and other types of text required to advertise businesses in East Tennessee to an extent that I would not classify as much as in the hundreds, but semi-regularly enough. If you can just figure that text proofing takes up 25% of my work hours (an average of 33 hours a week) for 51 work weeks from 2003 to current year, you have an idea just how much I've done.
Below are the examples of online text I have worked on. For the websites, I need to use this type of "example" format as our system (as in me and my primary contractor) of managing websites has fully changed over from static websites to Wordpress websites where others, such as clients or my work superiors, are able to publish and change text content without going through me first. This means just posting home page URLs for these sites will not work. Instead, I have provided pages and blog posts that I am certain will stay as they are and showcase examples of what I finalize professional text as.
